This week’s theme: the power of surrender

I admit that I am a bit of a control freak…

I imagine I’m not alone in that feeling. In fact, I know I’m not alone.

During my morning meditation, I went back to the basics. I did a full body scan and noticed how tense my body was.

As I took a deep breath in and exhaled, I let my shoulders drop and got the following message:

It’s time to surrender.

There’s power in the surrender. To admit powerlessness isn’t such a bad thing, in fact, it takes us off the hook for being responsible for so many things!

Surrender allows our souls to expand and allows us the opportunity to release our egoic desire to control and trust that we’ll be ok.

Basically, Spirit is asking us to trust that everything is already ok.

And I mean… it kind of already is in this moment, isn’t it?
