Tender Grief Moments 🫂

This week’s theme: tender

I didn’t grow up thinking I’d work with death.

But after sitting with my first actively dying person in 2015, I knew it hit my heart.

That moment cracked me wide open—and I’ve been walking alongside grief ever since.

Grief in our golden years looks different.

It’s layered with identity shifts, loneliness, loss of independence, and quiet heartbreak that often goes unseen.

And sometimes? Grief feels like both holding on and letting go at the same time.

In my latest blog, I break down the unique grief of older adults, share how to talk about it with more compassion, and give you real tools to support yourself or someone you love.
