This week’s theme: pride

It's LGBTQIA+ month, and what better time to celebrate pride in all its glorious forms? 🌟

Let's talk about a different kind of pride – the pride we have in ourselves. Confidence in oneself is super important, and yet, the main theme I’ve seen this week is self-doubt.

Why are we selling ourselves short?

Here's the deal: We are more intuitive than we give ourselves credit for. The doubt that creeps in when we tap into our intuitiveness, and then start questioning ourselves... we've gotta stop that. Spirit made us perfect, even in our imperfections. 🦋

Pride (noun): A feeling of deep pleasure or satisfaction derived from one's own achievements, the achievements of those with whom one is closely associated, or from qualities or possessions that are widely admired.

It's time to take that definition and apply it to our spiritual lives. Owning our intuitive gifts and embracing our inner wisdom is a profound act of self-love.

This month, let's celebrate not just our identities but our inherent power to connect with the spirit realm. When we trust our intuition, we step into our true power and live authentically.

Remember, you are perfect as you are, and your intuitive power is a gift. Tap into that confidence and shine brightly this month and beyond.

Tips from a Death Doula

How much does a Death Doula cost?

Firstly, it's essential to know that Death Doulas are independent contractors, meaning costs can vary widely. Typically, you can expect rates to range between $20 to $100 per hour, depending on the services offered and the Doula's experience. Many also provide package plans, which can offer more comprehensive support at a set price.

Unfortunately, Death Doula services are not covered by insurance... yet. However, don’t let that deter you. Many Death Doulas are open to discussing budgets and financial constraints to ensure their services are accessible to those in need. They understand the importance of their role and are often willing to work with you to find a solution that fits your financial situation.

Most importantly, Death Doulas are driven by a genuine desire to assist and support individuals and their families during one of life's most profound transitions. Their goal is to provide compassionate care, guidance, and comfort, ensuring that everyone has access to the support they need.
