Anticipatory Grief - Intuitive Insight 🎢
This week’s theme: anticipatory grief
Ever feel like you're sitting in a waiting room of loss, knowing what’s coming but it hasn’t happened yet?
Welcome to the world of anticipatory grief.
It’s like an emotional dress rehearsal before the final curtain call—challenging, surreal, and often overwhelming.
It’s that "I'm sad now even though the worst hasn’t happened yet" feeling.
Welcome to the club.
Here’s the deal: it can be just as heavy as the main event, and sometimes even trickier because you’re grieving in advance.
But I promise, you're not alone on this wild ride and as your friendly neighborhood death and grief doula, I'm here to walk alongside you on this journey.
Understanding Anticipatory Grief
Anticipatory grief is that emotional rollercoaster ride you didn't sign up for, where you're bracing for loss before it actually happens. It’s like getting glimpses of the final scene in a movie you haven’t fully watched yet.
But, here's the thing: it’s okay to feel grief now. You're not jumping the gun; you're processing in real-time.
I share suggestions on how to cope in this week’s blog and YouTube video.
Want to walk through it together? Book a free consultation call with me. Whether it’s having a listening ear or how to cope with it, I’ve got you.
If you’re interested in joining a safe Community Group where you can share your grief and fears, please respond with your interest. If you’ve ever been in group with me before, you know it’s not like any group you’ve been in before.
